Internet technologies were first used for creating a presence on the Internet and this led to become a sales and services channel. All corporate sites, info portals, and B-to-C online sales solutions can be evaluated as early examples of such solutions. Most recent trend is Consumer to Consumer (C-to-C) solutions. Some types of services such as swapping and auctioning can be evaluated in this group.
Forecast 2001 and on : All ISP's and portals in Turkey will be heavily investing in C-to-C projects to increase and attract active Internet user base. Consumer wave will mostly influence ISP's and Telecom companies. In order to produce highly accessible and useful services, GSM operators and ISP's will eventually need to integrate their systems and services.
